Anniversary in various languages, esp. Polish

Some language files in my download of 4.1 are missing the following lines:
pt-br: $pgv_lang["anniversary"]="aniversário";
es-ar: $pgv_lang["anniversary"]="aniversario";
pl: $pgv_lang["anniversary"]="??????";
would that go in 4.1 bugs? Polish word is _____?
MAIN REASON FOR POST:
In my installation, I find the little bell icon in events lists non-intuitive. I understand that space is an issue there, however, I feel that "Year" is small enough and fairly clear in this context (as a head with numbers under it).
So I am adding to my lang files (and changing the text in functions_print_lists/print_events_table):
en - $pgv_lang["anniv_year"]="Year";
es - $pgv_lang["anniv_year"]="Año";
pt - $pgv_lang["anniv_year"]="Ano";
fr - $pgv_lang["anniv_year"]="Année";
de - $pgv_lang["anniv_year"]="Jahr";
Does the German require declension? Is it the appropriate word for this context?
What would the Polish word be for this context? (I hope it's short) If it contains any non-ASCII characters, what is their Unicode Hex value?
BTW, I notice that column in functions_print_lists/print_events_table is tagged 'td' instead of 'th'

Bell is indeed not very intuitive. What to replace it with?
Question 1) Anniversary will be 'rocznica' in Polish
Qyestion 2) The column indicates number of years elapsed since the event (or a number n as in n'th anniversary). If I was to put a column name, I would put "Years", "Jahren", "Años" etc. - I think this would explain the column better.
In either case:
"Year" (infinitive) transtaltes to "Rok" in Polish (but the word "rok" indicates typically Gregorian year, as in 2007)
"Years" (genitive) will translate as "Lat" in Polish.

Wes - it is probably best to post language issues here. The translators are not necessarily programmers, and may not look at the bugs tracker.

As to your original post, I guess we could have the word anniversary instead of the icon. If it doesn't cause issues with column/table width, I'd support it on the grounds of consistency with other column headings. I think it would have to be "anniversary", rather than "years".
Entries in the English language files that are missing in the files for other languages are NOT NOT NOT NOT bugs. This is simply an indication that the translator for the language in question hasn't been able to update the language files.
The PGV developers generally don't also do the translations: that's an awful lot of work, and we certainly don't have many developers who are also expert in the various languages. We don't for instance, have a Polish-speaking/reading/writing developer. I'm not even sure that we have an official Polish translator.
I do some of the German, and try to catch up when time permits. Right now, I have other priorities. Just check the changelog.
We're using the Bell image in place of text because of space considerations. The table _used_ to have text, but in some languages the result wouldn't fit on the page. If you don't think the Bell image is sufficiently intuitive (I agree with you), why don't you point us at a suitable alternative? The image can be different for each theme, but we DO have a space constraint.
Yes, I'm aware of the space issue. Even with the bell, sometimes the table is too wide for the right column.
In English, to me at least, "Year" is clear enough and shorter. I can't think of any icon that would get the idea across without explanation. I'm not suggesting that my change be imposed on anyone else, but I am going to try it for a while and see what I think.
In the left side, there is almost always more than enough room for "Anniversary" but I am still (at this point) more in favor of "Year" I agree with the plural, though in my mind I was thinking more
Year: 50
Event: Birth

I think I'll keep "Year" on my site.
