Portuguese (Brazil) --> Portuguese???

I would like to change support for the Portuguese language, using the Brazilian Portuguese files.
This would mean that PhpGedView would no longer make a distinction between "Portuguese" and "Portuguese (Brazil)" and that the language selection would now be "Portuguese".
I understand that this would affect all of our Portuguese community, in that they would have to reconfigure their PGV installations to activate "Portuguese". This could be done automatically by program changes, but I don't think it's worth doing that.
I'm asking for comments and objections before I make this change to version 4.1.6. Previous versions would not be affected.
Gerry, I'm brazilian, and if you said that you would do that to portuguese from Portugal, me and all brazilans would be very mad. I thing that, so will be the portuguese.
I can tell you that, the differences in our way to speak and write the language are many, so many that, there is a current moviment here to change the language name from portuguese to brazilian. My advise, do not make it as one language for both countrys.
