If you are not skilful at deleting the specific lines in functions_index.php, please call for help. I will create a patch then.
I think downloading the latest functions_index.php from the CVS section is not a good idea, as very many things have been changed which also affect other files.

"Found the cause. Remove line 265-267 from the
functions_index.php file and then everything should work fine.
I will check out why the SQL import routine is so different
from the index one. At this stage they should be treated
equally I think.
As for the media-section I am still getting familiar with it.
Thanks for the pointer.
What you should do is:
1. Remove those lines.
2. Re-import gedcom."

On uploading a gedcom file, setting media levels set to 0, the picture do not work.
When I look at the links the original
c:\work\family history\photos\SusannaHansfordFamily.jpg
becomes
./media/c:workfamily historyphotosSusannaHansfordFamily.jpg
On the previous version this worked. Any idea what I have done wrong.
Jane.
Hi Jane,
this bug already has been solved, unfortunately the solution seems to be "hidden".
At
http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=940892&group_id=55456&atid=477079
you can read the complete bug-tracker. (Most important lines are attached here)
