Can log in to my site with Brave but not with Firefox

The subject says it all really. If I use the Brave browser (a secure version of Chrome) I just log in. If I use the same credentials with FireFox the log says I have logged in but immediately logged out again.

They often occur within the same second.

You may need to clear the browser's cache or blow away all stored cookies.

  Thanks Gerry. That fixed it. FireFox didn't have any cookies for the
  domain of the site, but deleting cookies for the parent domain
  (plus.com) did it.
