I'm not sure, but i wonder if it is possible to integrate two gedcom files associated with a person, and the navigation between the two files to do this automatically when it displays the tab "Immediate Family"
I have already saved the files, but the link between the two is not automatic.
i don't know if I explain well, an exemple is better than a long discours ^^
example:
1I: the father (gedcom 1 : 520 persons)
2I: the mother (Gedcom2 : 50 persons)
3I: Child 1 (gedcom 1)
4I: Child 2 (gedcom 1)
…
when viewing the tab "Immediate Family" of the father in a gedcom1, the mother appears (gedcom2 datas recovered), and if we display the individual record of the mother, the Gedcom2 file is automatically recovered and we can follow the tree in the gedcom2 (if the rights are granted otherwise an error message appears )
and vice versa
if it's possible, i don't find how to do this
i hope you und
best regards

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
Originally the general concept of "remote linking", this does not now work as intended (nor has it ever been bug-free), and I would not recommend using this 'feature'. The main reasons for doing this previous were at least two fold:
1) true remote server - someone else's data on someone else's server with guest access, or
2) your server - a different family tree (gedcom).
Most of us, where we 'own' the gedcom, have simply added that related tree to our own. The primary previous reason for leaving gedcoms separated was performance related. Large family trees were resource-intensive and very demanding, straining servers and bandwidth. Today's reiteration of the software performs much better, although still not perfect, with much larger trees. -Stephen

Thank you very much okbigkid for your fast response
ok, I understand that it'll take a lot of system resource
I thought of creating two gedcom files would be easier to administer.
I will merge all into one file, the navigation will be more fluid for all visitor
ps : my english is not perfect, sorry for my mistakes writing
best regards
