Hello,
Just to test things out, I registered with a different email. I don't see an option for that other account to upload a GEDCOM. I understood from another thread that this could be done. I was going to ask a new user, a relative that had a gedcom to upload hers to the site. We are related and have the same names on our family trees, the same people. So, I could build those relationships from her tree. I don't see how though, for a second user, to upload a GEDCOM. It doesn't seem to be an option.
Thanks,
Bruce

Only if you grant that potential user, ADMIN status, otherwise a typical user can not upload a GEDCOM. You don't want others to be mucking about in your setup or overwrite/erase your efforts. They can email you the GEDCOM and you can host it as a separate gedcom for later remote linking or inclusion in your own work.
She would have to be a User with Admin priveledges to Add GEDCOMs. Are you really sure you want to enable such rights for anyone else at this early stage of learning? I would suggest she send you her GED (Zip preferred) and You do the install. You know the routine from here, I think . . .
Then you can make her a regular User (with rights to make Changes) and she can begin the learning process too.

See http://www.myarnolds.com for four operating gedcoms under the welcome page icon.
