I have installed the mySQL version & imported 3 gedcoms succesfully into the database. Now how do I view the different gedcoms in GedView? I have tried both leaving the deafault gedcom variable in config.php empty and entering the name of one of the gedcoms in the variable. No matter which way I set the config.pho file, the program always displays the first gedcom that I imported, although I see by looking in the mySQL database that the other 2 gedcoms imported succesfully and are there. How do you "switch" from one to another or specify in a URL link which one you want displayed?
Thanks! :)

Maybe I see what is happening here: It looks like ALL the individuals from all 3 gedcoms have been imported into one db file in GedView. Is this the way it is supposed to work......it combines all the gedcoms into one? I was hoping to be able to keep the 3 separate. Do I need 3 databases to do that, or just separate tables in my one database? Looks like I may have imported them incorrectly....although I selected the "multiple gedcom" option vs. overwriting the table data" when I imported #2 and #3.

There is supposed to be a link at the bottom the page that says "Choose GEDCOM dataset" But it appears to be missing from the current version. I've fixed this in the latest release, please download it again or retrieve the latest functions file from the CVS repository. The only thing that you need to replace is your functions.php file.

Hi,
I downloaded the program again, and replaced my functions.php file as you suggested. This did not fix the problem, however..... I still see no link in the footer that will allow me to chose a particular data set.
I have experimented a bit & what seems to be happening here is an issue with cookies. If I dump the cookies in my browser, and go to www.salls-family.com/phpGedView, I see a page that allows me to slect a gedcom file for display. However once I pick one data set to look at, anytime I go back to the page, the same gedcom I originally selected is displayed, there is no more choice. In order to get the page back that gives me the option of picking a gedcom, I have to delete my cookies & cache again.
I did try some experimenting with different links: www.salls-family.com/phpGedView/index.php?GEDCOM=Wemp.ged will always take me to my Wemp gedcom, etc, but then when I start navigating around in the diffrenet views, the data seems to become mixed up with data from the other two gedcoms as well as the Wemp dataset I selected?
Also, another question: Is there a way to specify the I# to begin the view with in the mySQL version? The parameter in the config.php file does not seem to have any effect in the mySQL version although it works fine in the cgi indexed version.
Thanks for the help in advance!
