when I import a gedcom then Import progress bar resets also after time limit has exceeded its value. Otherways import is working fine, just it is not possible to visually check status of import.
What can be done do resolve this issue?

Depending on the processor speed, ram and other factors, the progress bar should reappear a short time after the import "auto-continues", but frankly its a bit of kludge and means very little. If the system fails, you'll be notified, otherwise, simply be patient. I would suggest a faster machine as a possible 'cure'.

I think this is a valid bug. When an import is split into several sections, I have seen the progress meter start from the beginning.
is there a bug report already or do I have to create one?
