The same thing occurs occasionally with Firefox. The problem has been identified by our very own Windmill & fixed, but still happens every now & then. I suspect the problem is something other than PGV, because I get the error on other URL's, but not certain. I have yet to find a real solution. If I leave the browser open for more than a few hours, I get the error, and the only "solution" I have found is to reboot. Alternatively, close & re-open the browser every hour or two.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
IE 8.0.6001.18882
PHP Version 5.2.6
mysql 5.0.41
PhpGedView 4.2.3
Occasionally when logging into PGV, the following dialogue box appears.
During a long session PGV becomes flaky and the same dialogue box appears.
'Error.
The core tooltip script file 'wz_tooltip.js' must be included first before the plugin files!'
Best wishes,
Chris W

It sounds to me as if this might be a browser cache size problem. Try telling the browser to use more space on the hard drive for caching files.
