I’m running PGV 4.1.6 without any problems.
I just did a clean installed of PGV 4.2.3, had a memory problem when trying to upload the GEDCOM – overcame that with Stephen’s help – Thank You.
After the completed import of the GEDCOM, I tried to do a search to bring up an individual and it would not work – just kept looking.
Now when I try to bring PGV up, I point my Firefox browser to the appropriate URL, it looks for a long time ~5 min, then brings up a blank page only. I rechecked the files via FTP and they all appear to be there. Any ideas?
Thanks!
Ray

Ray - its likely that your database has mixed 'collations'. Have a look at this patch and follow its instructions very carefully. :

Also, your Apache/DB timeouts may be very high and your previous search was still running when you tried the URL. You may have to restart Apache and clear your caches. This was the case for us before we fixed our collations, and any search would lock down the server for an extensive period.
