I'm using PVG 4.2.3. New installation.
When I launch the URL and attempt to logon…the first try seems to be ignored. The second attempt always works. I would appreciate any help you can give me. My URL is www.higgins-family.org

Search this HELP forum for this problem and you would have found many threads and the answer several times.
You have a URL in your CONFIG.PHP where you should not. It may be set to some variation of your standard URL, either with or without the WWW part perhaps, but no mind. Remove that URL from the file.
Chances are, you are entering the site without the "www", logging in and then being redirected to the 'real site' that you've configured with config.php in PGV. It would then think you have NOT logged in as its a different URL. remove the URL and the site won't make these assumptions.

Steven,
Steven,
Thanks for the quick reply. I edited the CONFIG.PHP file and erased the URL…it works. Thanks.
I had searched the Forum for a couple of hours without finding my problem. Maybe this question and answer will help someone else. Thanks again.

Its Stephen, not Steven, but thanks for the thanks - and glad it resolves your issue.
