BUT: This german version of the website has obviously not been updated since 2005, which leaves an odd impression regarding the project and - one might think - the software itself.
How about either updating or dumping the localized version? If I had to guess, I would say that the other localized versions (french etc.) that exist, are not up to date, either.

When I open http://www.phpgedview.net/ in my browser, it will default to http://www.phpgedview.net/de, correctly detecting the default language set in my browser.
