Sorry, I do not use FTM. Do you mean that when you export a gedcom from FTM and try to import it into phpGedView that it doesn't work. Or do you mean that when you download a gedcom from phpGedView and try to import it into FTM it doesn't work?

I actually use FTM for building my gedcom files. I haven't tried adding any media into my database, but I can certainly take a look. I seem to recall from the early days of writing my own family tree software that FTM takes some liberties with the gedcom format. We may have to set up a filter for FTM-generated files to pull out the specific type of codes that they use.
Just for reference, which version of FTM are you using?
Unfortunately working OT plus weekends right now, so not getting much time on the computer, but I'll put it on my to-do list :-)

I am using version 9 of FTM. We can only locate one file to transfer. Do you know if the data is stored in more
than one file and if you know, where do you find them.

I have Family Tree Maker and when I try to tranfer information other than basic info, like photo and notes and facts, it will not fransfer.
