I don't see a 'Latest Death Date" in the current version of PGV's statistics. I do see "Latest Death Year" in v.4.2.3+ (svn).
Adjacent to this notation is the Name, INDI Record number, and full information about the person to which the data applies. The entire name is 'clickable'. Go to that record and review the RAW information, especially examining the DEAT tags DATE line. You have, most likely mis-entered the date in an incorrect format or entry, or mis-formed the tag itself. Simply change the data to the correct information or formatting, and resave the page. -Stephen

Slow reaction?
DONT click on the date link - of course that takes you to the calendar.
Do as I suggested above and click on the INDI link, reviewing the RAW data contained within his/her record. There will be some error in data formatting.

The "Latest death year" area of the GEDCOM statistics block lists not only that incorrect date but also, in the next column, the person to whom this death year applies.
Log in as a user with Edit rights. When in doubt, use your site administrator userid.
Click on that person's information (NOT the incorrect year) to go directy to the Personal Details page of the individual. Inspect the raw GEDCOM record (accessible from the Personal Details page) to determine the cause of the error.

Gerry, Thanks. perhaps we have a language difference here that muddles the interpretation.
ksajdak, earlier you referred to the "Gedcom Statistics Block". I too referred to this same block. I know of no other presentation other than graphs, but these are an addition to this block.
Perhaps you can provide us with, at the very least, your site URL so we might see what you see, and perhaps admin access to help you resolve same. -Stephen

I have a wierd issue.
In the Gedcom Statistics Block I have a "Latest Death Date" of 32767.
Obviously, an error. I cannot find the error by searching the GEDCOM.
How can I find who the error associated with?

When I click on the link, I get to the Calendar year 32767.
No one is listed.
When I download and search the Gedcom, I find no 32767 in the database.

No INDI to click.
The Statistics "app" lists only stats… no Individuals.

The site URL is http://sportsage.net/stiehm
But, I think I fixed it.
The Gedcom Statistics Block on the Welcome Page shows only the category and number.
I put the Gedcom Statistics on the My GedView Page, and I had links to names.
I suspect now that the Gedcom Stats block on the Welcome Page is in too narrow of a column.
The Gedcom Statistics block is intended to be used only on the left side of the page. If you try to use it on the right side, you WILL run out of room.
