Whenever I try to access any submenu of the research assistant or try to add a task in the research assistant block for an individual, I get a 404 Not Found error:
The requested URL /phpgedview.module.php was not found on this server.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.
I did a standard install in related families, Version 4.2.3 I need help.

not sure what 'standard install' means, but lord knows DO NOT USE 4.2.3. It contains serious security bugs that have already been used by hackers to comprise data. There are over 150 major and minor bug fixes in the current SVN code - which is what you should use instead. If you have used 4.2.3, then there is little to no reason not to install the updated version. -Stephen

I'm relatively new to this. Where can I find instructions to install the current SVN code.

Several recent HELP threads about this, with links. Do a bit of reading and it will help.
