ADDED to BUG report:

When potentially new users applies for an account they are sent an e-mail with a link to activate their account.

Unfortunately these links are at fault, so that in some cases they contain a surplus forward-slash, and in other cases they contain a surplus forward-slash and a surplus subdirectory. ie:

http://phpgedview.1go.dk//login_register.php?
action=userverify

(above a surplus /)

or

(below a surplus /phpGedView/)

http://aafe.dyndns.dk/phpGedView//phpGedView/login_register.php?action=userverify
