that's not really an error.
As you can see on http://www.pluntke.com/script/phpp2/sourcelist.php
it looks different if you sources would have "real" names instead of only a number.
Just like in all other boxes in phpGedView the different items (individuals, families etc.) get listed in a box, which is a table with 1 (sometimes 2) columns.
If you prefer to have it changed to an alternative view you should please ad a feature request to the RFE section. Many of the user's requests already have made their way into phpGedView and help to continually improve it. Nevertheless I can not promise that every wish will be fulfilled...
