Many, and perhaps most, French-Canadians are descended from this individual. My g-grandmother has three lines of descent from him.
Is there anywhere in PGV that a link to this page can be added? A raw link to the URL in a note is not sufficient, either for presentation (an anchor tag or equivalent is needed) or placement. Such a link may or may not be a source. It's not a source reference to a web page, it's a link to a web page.
There was an enhancement request some time ago related to this:
You can put HTML into any Notes record. You can also put HTML into the Advanced HTML block or into the News articles visible on the front page. HTML is also permitted in the FAQ text.
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
I'd like to add links to external web pages for individuals.
The specific instance is a link to the wikipedia entry for Jacques Archambault.

The request was responded to, but the submitter did not reply. She has subsequently reverted her site to TNG.
Thanks!

Perhaps I'm being obtuse, but when I put html (an anchor tag, for example) into a note it doesn't get rendered.
For example:
https://paulyfamily.org/individual.php?pid=I1380 (scroll down to the third note)
Is there a trick to get html to render?
Thanks,
George
Hmmm…. I guess you're right.
We'll have to see what can be done about that. It should be fairly easy to fix / implement.
