( svn 4.3.0 on linux host ):
I have a strange behaviour in indi-lists:
i have privacy on in configuration and some add switches in *.ged_priv.php.
My father is still alive, my mother is dead.
When i do a list of indis my father is shown and marked with yes in column death!
my mother is hidden in the same list.
did i make a mistake in configuration or is this a bug?
Christian
If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
i am confused:
i did a RESN privacy on every RESI of my fathers, his wife and the FAM record.
my father is not shown as dead any longer. removed all the RESN tags and
my father remains alive! that's good to him but confusing to me.
a real big mysterium….
sorry about that

forgot this
my fathers age is 94
settings gedcom.ged_priv.php:
$MAX_ALIVE_AGE="125"
$SHOW_DEAD_PEOPLE=PGV_PRIV_PUBLIC
$SHOW_LIVING_NAMES=PGV_PRIV_USER
$USE_RELATIONSHIP_PRIVACY = false
$PRIVACY_BY_YEAR = true
$SHOW_PRIVATE_RELATIONSHIPS = true
Check the GEDCOM record for your father.
There's probably a "1 DEAT Y" record in there. Remove this or change the "Y" to "N".
Unfortunately there is no 1 DEAT Y record at all in the source! Must be a different reason for this behaviour.

Christian:
Thanks for letting us know. This behaviour is very odd. Probably, nobody will actually look into this.
