Ver. 2.52.2 appear to be a step back!

1. During install and during all operations the following notice is constantly displayed in the top of the active Window/box:

Notice: Undefined index: GEDCOM in mypath\2522phpGedView\session.php on line 83

2. When uploading the upload function doesn't continue to the import/index part (perhaps something was changed at my webhotel during the last few hours - I'll look into that).

3. The problem described in posting http://sourceforge.net/forum/forum.php?thread_id=960035&forum_id=185166 and a few other postings are not corrected!

4. gdbi-4-pgv.jar couldn't connect to this version. The reason for this probably was revealed when I tested it using my homemade GDBI-Testinterface:

I guess this notice is even more disturbing to gdbi-4-pgv.jar than the human eye.

Version 2.52.2 discarded - rolling back to version 2.52.1.

Arne,

To help you out on this one I can answer point 1. Replace line 83 with the following:

if (isset($_REQUEST["GEDCOM"])){
   $_REQUEST["GEDCOM"] = trim($_REQUEST["GEDCOM"]);
}

It should resolve the error. I already corrected this in the CVS.

I didn't see your posting until I returned here to report that once I had commented the offending line away, gdbi-4-pgv.jar was able to connect to this version and revealed, that the GDBI problems are solved in this version to the extend that I was able to succesfully add parents to a person, leaving the end of the gedcom like this:

I've very sorry about the 2.52.2 release.  Trying to do too may things at once ;-(

I've released 2.52.3 to make up for it.
