I have just started with PGV (version 2.65.3) and it seems fine so far except that after exiting my browsers (I have used Firefox and IE Explorer) , when I go back to my site, all the media files are not shown in any of the available views.
They are still on the server (in the default media directory and its thumbs sub-directory) but connection seems to have been lost with the gedcom.
Only by deleting and reloading the gedcom can I see the media again and that only for one browser session.
This happens whether I am logged in as a user or not.
Any advice gratefully received!
Thanks,
Chris

Very odd. What program did you use to make your gedcom file?
If you go to the medialist do you get a lot of file not found errors or do you get 0 media items?
Are your media objects encoded as references in the individual record like this:
0 @I1@ INDI
1 NAME Given Name /Surname/
1 OBJE
2 FILE c:\documents\picures\surname.jpg
Or are they encoded as links to media objects like this:
0 @I1@ INDI
1 NAME Given Name /Surname/
1 OBJE @O1@
0 @O1@ OBJE
1 FILE c:\documents\picures\surname.jpg
