This may relate to the Lightbox, but I have eleven images for one individual, including five photos. All are listed properly, with four photos also shown in an extra category of  "not in db."  (I have not noted any errors.) See Album at:  www.adkins9.net/go2/besser  - Any ideas?

That is definitely a Lightbox issue. Not sure what yet. Hopefully Brian will see this.

Can you remind us what version of PGV are you on; and did you upgrade Lightbox at the same time you most recently upgraded PGV?

"Not in DB" is usually reserved for items with no "Type" but all those four do have one, so its not immediately obvious what the problem is.

    Thomas
Usually the NOT IN DB indicates that a media OBJE is awaiting ADMIN approval. Interesting, the identical image points to the same VIEW DETAILS url, for instance, M64.  Have you visited that page, opened the EDIT option and simply saved (making sure all the details about the image are filled in properly)?
Certainly worth a try. After doing an edit and a save, be sure to approve any waiting changes.  Also, you may wish to use an DB admin tool and search the media tables to see if somehow you have duplicated the M64 (and three other) OBJE ID's.

And I forgot - be sure to specify the image type  JPEG, when you edit. This is a known issue with the "other" title, even if the doc type is specified as photo, tombstone, document, etc.

I'm using 4.2.2, and upgraded everything at the same time (as I recall.)
It is strange.  I've tried checking the format, etc. - no joy.
Brian:  username & p/w in the mail.
Thanks, guys.  Not a problem yet, but then…

    Tom,

You have only given me edit rights I think, and I particularly wanted to be able to look at the RAW GEDCOM data.
As I think the reason the duplicates are there is that they are duplicated in the GEDCOM maybe  …  but I cannot tell yet.
    (Is that OK with you?)

    Tom,
Not quite there yet to be able to look at RAW GEDCOM records.

Can you do (as the site owner) the following.

    1) Go to MyGedView Portal/User Administration.

    2) Select Site Administrators (in the Informational block)

    3) Edit the username you gave me.

    4) make sure the Access level is Admin GEDCOM
    and

    5) Make sure the Automatically accept changes made by this user box is ticked.

    We'll get there <grin>

    Tom,

I think I have solved the problem.

As Stephen suggested, you had duplicated entries in your GEDCOM for the four media items that appeared in the "Not in DB" row on the Album page.

You also have a problem in that on the Indi page, clicking on the "Options for individual/Edit" box does not show the clickable item "Edit RAW Gedcom record" even though I am a GEDCOM Admin. Have you modified the files to achieve this?

No matter, I eventually entered the url in my browser of

    http://www.adkins9.net/edit_interface.php?action=editraw&pid=I042

which gave me the editing capabilities I needed.
I then removed the four duplicated media items vis:

    1 OBJE @M64@, 1 OBJE @M65@, 1 OBJE @M66@, and 1 OBJE @M67@  … these were entered twice.

You may have reimported your GEDCOM and mistakenly said "Keep Media Links = Yes"  I really do not know.

Perhaps Stephen can reply as to how you can check for duplication of Media Items in the GEDCHECK? Is this possible Stephen?

For now the problem is resolved for this paricular Indi Tom OK? But I still do not undertstand why as a GEDCOM Admin I cannot edit RAW GEDCOM records with this apparently missing Indi Option Edit menu item.

    Tom,

You can now remove the id you gave me when you feel necessary.

    Tom
You can use Greg's duplicate media batch processor in the Admin section. I was pretty sure you had duplicated the ID's, generating confusion in the database and gedcom.
