welcome page error - after customizing

I have customized the welcome page an removed  all the blocks  in  Main Selection area.
Now, when clicking on the welcome page, I see only 4 rotating wheels  the right side is  blank as well.  So I have no chance to reset/customize the welcome page again.
What can I do to fix this problem?

You should still see a "Customise Welcome Block" text at the bottom of the page.

Also, if you wait, those "spinning wheels' will stop and display your right-side blocks.

Hi,

I'm on ADMIN level - but I can't see the  Customize  Welcome page ...

Is there an chance to restore this by reloading related files to the server?
If yes, which files?

When the GEDCOM Welcome block is configured to appear on the Index page, you won't see a separate customization link, since the block already contains one.

You'll have to disable the Welcome block.  Change the name of the file "blocks/gedcom_block.php" to "gedcom_block.foo".

This action should give you the desired link so that you can customize the Index page, but the GEDCOM Welcome block won't appear in the list of available blocks.

Once you've got the Index page working again, you can restore the name of that file.  When you next configure the Index page, the GEDCOM Welcome block will again be available for use.
