I've used Search and Replace several times before and never had any problems but for some reason when I do a Search and Replace now I get a "No results found." even though I know that my search is for sure there, when I do a regular search my results come up with no problem.
Is there a setting or such that disables the Search and Replace? All I'm needing to do is I have a certain family that contains about 100 names and their last name was misspelled so I need to change their name to the correct spelling.

Use the ADMIN batch tool 'Search and Replace" and it isn't such a kludge. It gives you the opportunity to review and approve, or even to access the record as its presented and make manual changes, one at a time or in a total batch, rather than willy-nilly making changes in the GEDCOM using the SEARCH function version.
It is unlikely the regular search/replace will be fixed any time soon. -Stephen[/i]

Also as another option or if you need GREP handling, you can simply export the gedcom, use your favorite text-editor's function of search and replace and then reimport.-Stephen

Wesley,
I can duplicate this behaviour on my site. I would think it is a bug and should be reported.
Stuart
Ah, you're right Stuart, I searched the Bug Reports and found it in there. Thanks for checking that and posting.
