I am currently running PostNuke that is hosted on Hostnuke a PHP based web server.  My thought was that since it was PHP based this application should run.  (bad assumption on my part??)

Do you know if this will work on that server, and if so what do I need to do to make it run?

The application looks awesome and is exactly what I was looking for on my website.  I would be willing to pay if it would help to get this to work on my site.

    Thanks
    Rick

I'm not very familiar with PostNuke, but what happens when you try to run in?

I'm late on this post, but this might help people like me lookin for other options under the PostNuke/phpNuke model:

In order to function as a module in PostNuke, or phpNuke (or other php-based gpl cms) you have to rewrite the index file (and probably others, but I've not messed with this one much yet so I can'tbe sure) so the cms can hanlde it as a module.

If you're not sure what I'm talking about, you probably don't want the hassle of learning php just to begin the adaptation process.

There is another option, though. If this is exactly the method you want to use for genealogy stuff, just run it outside of PostNuke. While not the ideal solution if you've adopted the cms specifically to make it easier to share your .ged file, it is a simpler way to get it out there.

Something like the ContentExpress module may work but I don't know —  I've just rewritten to modules when I've needed to incorporate things like this. I'm not a big fan of using something as woggy as CE and the others just to make something else work.

If you're willing to tackle it, more power to you. I may give it a shot. If I do and am successful, I'l post back here and give the dev folks my changes.
