I listed all Places and in the list was "JUL 1979" so I displayed the 2 affected records. One was erroneous, which I corrected. The other has absolutely no mention of JUL 1979 let alone having it in PLAC. I checked the Gedcom. Do I have to export and re-import to see if this "error" removes itself?

Did you search the DB via phpMyAdmin for this reference rather than the GEDCOM? Remove it there as we assume you no longer use the SYNC to gedcom function. It really slows down the site as it rewrites the entire file.

Think I have sync on but, looked at the phpMyAdmin and found the rogue PLAC. I clicked the X to delete. Re-ran Place Hierarchy and it's gone.
