I tried to configure the database. Think I typed in the right user, password and database name . I get always a message : Please check your database connection parameters and configure again.
A look at My Admin shows the database with 3 tables (pgv_favorites, pgv_messages,pgv_users) and an error:
PMA Database ... bad
Any help is welcome, if possible in german (my english knowledge is as bad as my PHP-knowledge)

Kurt or Peter might be able to help you in German, but since you have the pgv_users table you might try continuing on and importing the database.
Go to editgedcoms.php and try to add or upload a gedcom file and import it and see if it works.
In the past there was a bug that showed this error message on the configuration screen even though everything was really ok.
