Hi John, , Sorry but my email server at home has crashed and I am trying to fix so I don't have access to your email address at this time. My web hosters have also gone and changed my ip address again for the wiki.
New IP Address is: 175.107.130.193
If anyone has John's email can they send this onto him please.
Sorry to everyone for the inconvenience. They change the IP address and don't tell me until I find out .
Laurie

That's almost as nice as our co-location service (and DNS registrar!) just shutting down, not answering their phones, and locking their doors with no advance warning. At least they returned our equipment three days after pulling the plug, but we had to do a LOT of talking to get the DNS records corrected to the new IP address. A week without e-mail is HARD to swallow.
GRRRRRR. A day's notice before declaring bankruptcy would have been "the gentlemanly thing" to do.

The IP address you provided doesn't go to an installed wiki.
Unfortunately, I don;t have John Finlay's email.
On the off chance that it might help, I can provide, gratis, ssh/sftp hosting with mediawiki installed. Temporary or permanent. Someone will still be needed to point wiki.phpgedview.net there, although we could come up with another url if needed. Other wikis might be possible too.
Thanks.
George

I don't think so. I just downloaded a fileset of the PGV-4.2.3 package from the FILES link here at the top of this Forum page. I used the Direct link that came up, did not test the Mirror link. Sometimes it does take a few moments for the dialog box to actually appear and start the download. I have also had issues with script "pop-ups" in various IE browsers with different security settings.
However, I could see that if the Mirror site was the same as the one hosting the Wiki then …

Why not set up a temporary gmail account and use that until things are back to normal?
