Generally when you do something that pops up a new window to enter new
details, clicking add/save in the popped up window refreshes it to
confirm the action has been performed. (I have that option turned on
because I like to see the confirmation). Clicking 'Close window' closes
the window and refreshes the page that caused the popup, showing the new
situation with the addition. However the two 'add a child' buttons on a
Family view produce popups that, after save, have a non-operative 'close
window' link.
More of an annoyance than a serious bug. You just have to remember to
manually close the window, click in the calling window, and refresh.
