I have an admin who has somehow managed to create a PGV installation, with people and families and notes, with no associated Gedcom file.
The Gedcom is listed as ./index/
Is this a feature of PGV or did he manage some kind of noob hack?
Is there a way to get the database info into a Gedcom? This may be obvious, but I'm stumped.
I'm trying to put him into a new 4.2.3 site.
Thanks
It there but hidden by the ".". He didn't hack anything, but mistakenly named it incorrectly. -Stephen
I think it's really not there.
Edits yield a string of gedcom not fund errors.
The Gedcom config files are _conf.php and _priv.php
There's not that much data so consider the case closed & we'll try again.
Export the DB file to create a new one. stephen
