I started off using phpGedView by creating a GED file for my immediate family in 'Lifelines', and copying it to a web server directory. I'm seeing some weird things, as follows.
- we are 3 children but the descendency chart shows only 2, with a third box containing only the text 'Living'
- the pedigree view shows my father and a set of empty bozes. Clicking on the arrow next to my father's box gives me another box with my mother and indented names of 2 children, with '<'characters before each.
- The timeline chart shows: attempting to add names gives the error that the names can't be found.
The record for the third child in the GED file is syntactically iidentical to the first two.
I'm only starting out, and these are probably errors of interpretation of how the software works, but I couldn't find any documentation. What errors should I look for?
