I thought that I had found all of these. Are you using MySQL or Index Files? Where are the offending notes showing up? Individual page? family page? Inside a source citation? Is the note embedded in the record or is it linked through an @N@ ID?

I'm using index files. Problem notes are showing up in the individual page (I don't have any source citations). The note is embedded in the record.

In 2.13, a note with an apostrophe in it appeared like this:
The ceremony took place at Amy & Kevin's house (Tom's sister and brother-in-law).
In 2.50, it looks like this:
The ceremony took place at Amy & Kevin\'s house (Tom\'s sister and brother-in-law).
-----------------
2.50 is introducing backslashes before the single quote/apostrophe. Can that be fixed?
Thanks,
Tom

To fix this, replace line 116 in the find_family_record function with this line:
if (isset($famlist[$famid])) return preg_replace("/\\\'/", "'", $famlist[$famid]["gedcom"]);

Sorry, forgot mention that you need to make this change in the functions_index.php file.
--John
Thanks, that solved it.
