    I have certain individuals in my family who are very private about their birthdate.  I'd like to hide their birthdate from anyone but administrators, but I can't seem to get the privacy to work properly.

    I've added the following to the privacy file:

    $person_facts["I003"]["BIRT"]["show"] = $PRIV_HIDE;
    $person_facts["I003"]["BIRT"]["details"] = $PRIV_HIDE;

    But the facts still show up in the pedigree chart for any logged in users.

    Am I doing something wrong?

      No, you aren't doing something wrong.  The program hasn't been set to use these settings on the pedigree chart yet.

      I'll work on it and get a new release ready for you.

      I just released version 2.62 beta 1 with this bug fixed.

      This release contains fixes for most of the bugs in the bug list, and adds some enhancements to the pedigree chart.

      Check the changelog for full details.

        Thank you very much!  This works much better.

        I also submitted a bug where URLs are incorrect when running the server on a port other than 80.  My server runs on http://my.server.com:82/genealogy, but the registration message sends http://my.server.com/genealogy.  But I can work around this by editing the files by hand for now.

        Thanks again, this is fantastic!
