I'm using the …linking as child very often in my quest to have everyone in my Gedcom properly linked (lots of broken people).

When the edit window opens and I enter some of the surname in "Family", the drop down that appears is too narrow to display the scroll bar when the list is long. There is no way of determining that in fact there's more in the list.

If I widen the window, I can then see the scroll. However, it's not sticky so next  person I need to do the linking for, I have to repeat the step.

This following link shows what is normally seen . Can you explain a bit more about your situation, if its different, or what the problem is ?

My window by default doesn't open wide enough to show the scroll bar. So, there's no way of knowing more entries exist w/o making the window wider then seeing if, in fact, there are more. Every use requires same widening.

What resolution is your computer screen set to?
What is your browser's default font size set to?

Have you changed the file phpgedview/js/phpgedview.php at all?

The standard code sets that window at 600px wide by 500px high, exactly is in the image I showed. So there "should" not be a problem, so this is most likely a browser setting issue.

My screen resolution is 1920x1080. Firefox does not have a font setting, wish it did (don't forget Mac fonts appear A LOT smaller than PC so no comparison).

No idea what that .php file is so obviously, couldn't change :)

Mac. With that resolution you shouldn't be having any problems at all. Can you possibly send me a screen dump / image of what you are seeing?

Firefox does have a font setting by the way (all browsers do). Its default is often 16px, whcih 'might' be the issue. Its set in Tools - Options - Content.
