I am having a lot of hard time with this issue, the internal messaging with email is not working, it does not send any internal message and no email is send also. I have set the contact information, but nothing happens. How can I solve this. FYI, I have a very limited understandig of programs language, I'm not a techenical at all.

First of all, you need to ensure that your PhpGedView installation is at the latest SVN version. That version is 7158.
If you don't know how to download this version from the SVN repository, please e-mail me directly : gkroll (at) keldine (dot) ca . I can make a ZIP copy available to you that you can easily download from my web site. I do not wish to post the URL here.
If you're sure that you have installed the correct version of PhpGedView and sending of e-mails still doesn't work, you need to contact your service provider (the people who made PHP available to you on your server). There could be a PHP configuration problem that only they can solve. They could also have disabled the e-mail functionality completely.
It's also possible that you need to configure PhpGedView to use SMTP to send e-mails instead of using the functions built into PHP. Your service provider can advise you on this matter. You configure PhpGedView to use SMTP by accessing the SMTP tab on the site configuration page that you access from the "Configure" option on the "Admin" page.

Looking at the read me txt I got PhpGedView Version 4.3. I did not find any versio 7158 at the phpgedviw com or at the sourceforge. I'll email you, so I get the corret file.

BTW, I have received an email saying that for free accounts, the email service would be stoped by may 1st, but, why internal messaging doesn't work on the phpgedview?
