I get the following error on my main page after upgrading:
ERROR:-19 DB Error: no such field
SQL:SELECT 'INDI' AS type, i_id AS xref, 2 AS ged_id, i_gedcom AS gedrec, i_isdead, i_sex FROM pgv_individuals WHERE i_id='' AND i_file=2

When you say "4.2", do you mean "4.2.0"?
What was your previous version?
If I asked you to add a column to a table, using phpMyAdmin etc., would you know how to do it?

If ONLY we hadn't removed the version numbering from the hover display in the footer, we could just go to Vince's URL and see what version he is using :-(((
Vince, assuming you have upgraded to 4.2.2 from some very old version, you probably need to re-import your GEDCOM file so that new fields in your tables are created.

Regardless of what the upgrade instructions might say, I always advise people to re-import. That way, there's no question that the database tables are properly constructed and also properly populated.

Thanks guys for the quick replies. I hadnt really messed around with this program that much, installed it for my Dad to play with… the import of the GED file worked lke a charm.
