this has just started to happen and the only thing I have changed is I made the config.php not writeable… When I go to change a family and search for an individual it's fine - until I click on that individuals name to select it and I get an erro (javascript) and this is what it says…

    Webpage error details

I think the flab referes to the person I wsa searching for - the name began with 'flab'

I will change the config back to see if the message goes… but any suggestions otherwise?

I changed the config and this didn't affect it - the error appearts when I go to change a family member and search for a name - and I then can't select any of the names it brings up presumeably because of the error.

This is a coding error.  The name contains a single-quote character, and the code fails to "escape" this properly.

    Raise a bug report.

but it did work before - it seems to have just stopped? - should I try to copy the find.php file back on and see if that fixes it - dont know if files can become corrupt or not ? - or could this mess everything up?

    Advice please……

I'm sorry, but are you not reading the same 'advice' that I am - already given.
It is a BUG in the code. Submit a bug report with the details you've already posted here.  As to why not before, there could be many reasons - you changed a configuration, you changed a ' or " or ) in a name, someone changed some code on the handling of those characters in the code, etc. Whatever the reason why, its been identified as a current code bug, so please submit the bug report.
