How can I create from PGV a jpg file (at least 300 bpi) from the printer-friendly version of a full 6 generation pedigree chart - oldest at top? I need to print a big wall chart.
I will also need to remove the text "Back to normal view" that is printed below the third ggg-grandparent.

If you would like to refer to this comment somewhere else in this project, copy and paste the following link:
The report supports 72 page sizes and also custom sizes… 100m x 100m? No problem ; )
You also want to print it? Send the PDF file to a company that can print it. Or ask a friend with a large printer, such as an engineer/designer/publisher.

I need a chart/report with the oldest generations on top or bottom and each individual in his box.
I really wanted something probably called the enhanced hourglass in generations grand suite (I have not seen this report).
I wanted a descendancy chart, with individuals in their box and siblings one next to the other, for each ancestor. My parents could be in the middle. As I do not have this option, the Pedigree chart will do.
Stephen, I reported this chart printing bug since I joined the team, but I have been told that it is caused by my browser setup (I doubt this and the fact that you, too, have the behavior makes me more sure of this ).
I think that PGV is not intended as the tool to be used to print large reports. My problem is that PGV prints nicely 2 _HEB dates that I doubt genealogy chart/report printing programs will print.

Meliza, have you looked at the GVEXPORT module for PGV? I havn't used it for a while, but it was created just for the purpose you describe, and can do a very good job. There's information (and download) on this WIKI page:

You'll probably be forced to take a series of screen shots that you then have to crop and paste together.
I don't think the 600 bpi resolution is achievable with screen shots.
My suggestion would be to print the chart to a PDF file. There are free PDF print drivers.
I only manage to print the left hand side of the chart on paper or in aPDF file.

Interesting - the print command for these pages only captures the "first" page. This is obviously a bug.

Not sure if its up to date, but in the past its creator has been very quick to correct any issues.
ups, mistake.
2 _HEB dates should read 2 _HEB names.
kiwi, thanks - I will look at the module.
