    John,

I started playing with a theme idea based upon the Wood theme.  I find that when I click on some of the menu items, the bottom of the menu gets overwritten.  Is it possible to set a minimum line height to begin footer placement?

IE can I tell PGV to only display the footer at no higher than the 60th line on the screen?   Much like the variables in Theme.php for screen placement of the Pedigree and Descendant charts.

    Thanks
    John

PS Kick me if I overlooked something.

I am going to be reworking the footer in the next version.  Probably move all of the items over to the side menubar.

In the meantime, which pages are having difficult?

PS. For all of you who use themes with menus down the side, the latest beta release of PhpGedView has a new pedigree chart that can be printed in portrait mode.  In other words, it is taller and skinner so that you can fit a 4 generation pedigree chart in the smaller area you have in your theme.

      John,

I have not standardized on the side menu theme, however my main site uses a side menu, so I was just looking and thinking.

The menus I notice this on most of the time are:
      Descendancy Chart
      Relationship Chart
      Source List

I have seen it on the Individual List, however not in default view, Ihave to select a letter for the surname.  Then it gets covered.

I should point out the only thing I have modified, is the Meta File.  I know this makes no diff, however I feel the need to provide all details that come to mind.

Aniversary Calendar, tehn click person which inturn  brings the indivduals record up.  Now it is overlaying the menu.

I'm sure there are many otehr areas, so I was thinking the original suggestion would allow us to ensure the theme footer and internal footer function would not overwrite the left menu.

Personally, I was loking to modify and migrate the main site theme to a top menu, however this might also be a working start.  I'm also thinking I'll drop Front Page for this too.  (Stop the snickering, I've used it for years to maintain my site, just venturing out more.  I know it sucks.)

      Thanks
      John
