For the last 3 days I have attempted to stop monitoring. However, I keep getting emails nevertheless. I tried every possible combination and nothing seems to work.

    Is anyone interested in replying?

Well, since this is your problem - with SF - and not a PGV issue, we supposed it wasn't urgent. Guess your needs are more important than anyone else's, huh?

The best place to see what you are monitoring is from your ACCOUNT page: https://sourceforge.net/account/monitoring
At the bottom, it gives explicit instructions on what is necessary to change your current settings.

Actual monitoring can occur at the Project Level, Forum Level and Thread Level. Each of these will be displayed on your account page and each has a separate method of changing the monitoring settings. For instance, on this thread, just above the ENTER KEYWORD field on the left side mid-header, there are the words "Monitor vs Unmonitor" folllowed by a blue Monitor if you care to turn on monitoring for this thread, or Unmonitor if you have the thread set to Monitor.

The same is true for each general FORUM home page:

    https://sourceforge.net/projects/phpgedview/forums/forum/185166

In exactly the same location as the individual thread, it will now say "HELP", followed by either Monitor or Unmonitor, depending on the current setting.

Finally, in the mid-header right margin are four arrow boxes Share> Monitor> Watch> Donate>
If you have set the entire PHPGEDVIEW project to Monitor, then you can change it to Unmonitor here.

ALL of these are displayed on your ACCOUNT page, linked above, assuming you are logged in.

Pretty simple - you could have found these yourself with very little effort and not burdened the limited help resources of this project with a non-project question, especially in such a demanding fashion. I'm sure that we'll be reluctant to quickly assist you on PGV issues that may arise, given your lack of consideration for the time and effort of others.  YES, I just flamed you.
    Stephen

Thanks and sorry - if i could figure it out, i would not ask for help. I am not flamed, but you are a very rude person, and perhaps you should be in some other area of work, that does not involve humans.

    Hello, Eladesor:
I think you're doing an injustice to Stephen.  I agree that his respone to you could have been more polite, but this is definitely not the way Stephen normally operates.  Perhaps he hadn't had his morning coffee when he composed his reply.

What DOES bother us is your apparent impatience, in demanding a reply to your legitimate plea for help within a very short time of having posted your question.  The phrasing of your demand for a response is also troubling.  You must understand that we're all unpaid volunteers here, and watching the Help (or any other) forum isn't high on our list of priorities.  We all have other more important things to do.

The number of people who can devote any time at all to PGV has been reduced significantly in the last few months.  What few resources we still have are stretched pretty thin.

In future, please be more patient - your question or request for help will be answered eventually.
