Hello,
i just install 4.2.3 (i usually install svn every day but this time i did not install any file since Dec the 23. (some error must come from those new files)
individual.php does no longer show any thing under tabs (only th général header and indi header and menu but no tabs at all)
and i get the rror below when going to either place function (admin googlemap / place list ….)
Many of the places i use have diacritic characters and about all have ( and ) characters.
> Using SVN does risk the occaisional glitch like this, but we try to fix any problems ASAP.
So that's why i usually use it and never had a pb !
> What DB are you using (MySQL?). Do you use googlemap?
I use MySQL and Googlemap
> Try deleting (or renaming) your modules/googlemap/config.php file.
i just tried it and it immedialty worked.
All setup data was immediatly recovered in newly created confi.php file
I just had to change "Enable GoogleMap" to yes again and every think seems ok again.
Great help, **i thank you really very much**.

Are you sure? This error looks like it came from 4.3.0svn.
Hello Greg,
really happy you're here around.
my version is revision 6631
what i allways do is a
svn co https://phpgedview.svn.sourceforge.net/svnroot/phpgedview/trunk/phpGedView /home/andre/Documents/repertoires_svn/phpgedview
and then copy newest files to my website.
did i mistake ?
How should i do to only get last stable version with its corrections ?
If that's wrong, how do i go back to 4.2.3 if possible ?
Thanks,
André
Andre,
Using SVN does risk the occaisional glitch like this, but we try to fix any problems ASAP.
Try deleting (or renaming) your modules/googlemap/config.php file.
What DB are you using (MySQL?). Do you use googlemap?
Or, you could just update to latest SVN.
I believe I have found and fixed the problem.
Earlier versions of the googlemap config file had a different format to the later ones.
