SF new Forum - response times?

Anyone else experiencing a substantial slowdown in load/response times for these new forums? Not saying SF forums were every the quickest, but now it takes up to 20 seconds (or more) after I click on the HELP forum link to have the page start loading. At first I suspected a DNS server issue at my end, but all the other sites are loading as usual.
Of course we know the new design sucks as much as the old one, but just asking about loading.

Hi Stephen, now that you mention it, yes, I would say so. I was also unsure about the cause. There are so many variables involved in page loading speed.
I hate to say this though, I can't (quite) agree that the new forum sucks as much as the old one. It CERTAINLY sucks, but I feel there are minor improvements. I quite like the avatars, the full page width and the preview.
I still hate the input box size, the crude attempt to allow markup, the lack of any sorting or display options, and no ability to edit my own posts. A couple of those are actually worse than the old one.
Matter of measure - I too like portions of the new forum (although its now **TOO WIDE**, at least for my laptop) and a few other things, but the number of things wrong are just as many, only different.. I switched over to Safari instead of FF and the response time is better - marginally.
