Just looked at the Files section here, and noticed that 4.2.2 has had zero downloads! I know thats not correct, from the few queries about installation we've had.
I also see that all earlier releases have a small "release notes' icon attached as well, which 4.2.2 doesn't. Are these two issues related?
I looked because I was feeling that, over a week since 4.2.2 was released, the number of queries and/or bug notices seems very low compared to previous releases. If, as I suspect, the number of issues is even lower on a 'per download' basis, then our development team deserve a HUGE pat on the back for an excellent job.

OK, answered my own question. FOund this on the SF Tracker, from about a week ago:
"We are currently having problems with our statistics system. This is a known issue and our engineering team is working on resolving this shortly.
The good news is that the statistics are still being tracked. We're just having problems with displaying the information.
Unfortunately, I do not know how much longer this will take to be resolved.
Keep an eye on our Site Status page for updates."

The dependence on PDO might be putting some people off at the moment, plus it's the long summer school holidays up here in the north. So there might be a slower uptake anyway.
Luckily my Internet host has Apache 2.2.10 ... php 5.2.9 with PDO for MySQL(5.0.41 client library) and it works.
My iMac here has Apache 2.2.11 ... php 5.3.0 with PDo for MySQL (5.0.83 client library) and it works
But I can't get php 5.3.0 to work on XP ... I dl'd the "right" version to run with Apache rather than IIS, but it doesn't like it. And judging by the number of Google hits, a lot of other people can't get it going either.
