I'm not sure if this is appropriate to post here, but I would really like to give my thanks to the developers of phpGedView, which seems to be primarily John.
This monday, I got access to my new website, with PHP and MySQL support, which I did not have before. I started searhcing for a way to show my genealogical data with these new possibilities. Luckily, I ended up here quite quickly. Within 30 minutes, I had phpGedView 2.50 up and running, using the MySQL backend. This was all so easy to configure, I simply did not believe that was all there was to it.
Next, after playing around a bit, I had one very minor enhancement I thought would be nice to have. I posted the RFE, and it took John little over an hour to come back to me saying he'd implemented it! I found myself upgrading to version 2.51 which was as easy as installing it in the first place. John coded the enhancement just the way I wanted.
phpGedView is really one of the (if not the) best ways to publish your GED data on the web I have been able to find. I'd recommend it to anyone who has the ability to PHP on their website.
John, a sincere Thank You for all the work you put in.
Regards,
Michiel
