Suppose a family with childs born on the same place:
all births on the same place show only by 1 marker, where one of the births is hiding the other births.
Only by inspecting the textual data outside the map, one can see that more events took place.
What about a design that the map shows in some manner that more events took place on that single place (pair of coordinates)?

If there are multiple events in the same place the "Info" pop-up you get when you click on either the marker or the event in the list has each event on a separate tab, so very easy to see.
So one birth is not "hiding" the others, there is only one marker for each place.
However, it might be possible to change the colour of the marker if there are multiple events. I can see that might be useful. You should raise a Feature Request for it.

You only get up to four tabs on a marker … the 5th event generates a new marker offset right and down from the initial marker. Which is sort of fine, except now the later markers are now on the wrong farmhouse etc. So it looks like the person (or family) moved location even though they didn't.

The limit of 4 tabs and the additional tabs in a slightly offset positions are restrictions and behavior built into the Google Maps API. There is not much we can do about this.

In case of the standard marker ( being a red drop) a change of colour could well be realised, I guess, but when a flag is used, then the suggestion of a colour change would not make sense.
What could be a general recognisable indicator for multiple events?

In my view, there is no practical answer if you also want to use flags.
Personally I wold leave it all as it is.

Thanks, the current way is quite satisfying.
Indeed such a feature request seems an improvement; I will revert on this soon.

Aware of the consequences,I agree to leave things as they are. Let's stop this item.
