.swf files are already supported .
These are invoked if you have the JWPlayer module installed, and you have the Macromedia Flash Player plugin on your Browser.
Let me know if this works, and then perhaps I need to add .swf files to be accessed locally …
I'll deal with that with you later (I have been meaning to do this)

I do have both installed.
<<Upload these as a New Media Item, and choose the URL as the File Name on Server field e.g. http://www.mysite.com/mediadir/filename.swf>>
I did as you recommended but couldn't get it to work. It's says "file is missing".
So it didn't work the way you recommended. i tried it locally as well but the same.
At the and I did it as .pdf and it worked. So don't worry to much about my request just for the next upgrade consider it to be implemented.
Thank you very much for your hard work.

Mitar
I just did as Brian suggested and it works fine for me.
I think you do need to have the Lightbox module installed and working as well (not sure, but I do).
I tried to upload a media file created with Macromedia Flash Paper 2 but it's not recognized. Are there any chances to have .swf files supported?
Thank you and happy New Year to all of you out there.

What version of PGV are you trying this on?

The video you sent me the link works just fine on my 4.2.2 installation with Chrome browser. Could you try with a .swf file?
