Clicking on "Project Home" from http://sourceforge.net/projects/phpgedview/ my browser redirects me to http://www.phpgedview.net/de/
From that page the whole project seems to be dead since version 3.2.2 in early 2005.
I tried replacing /de/ with /en/, but there I get a 404 error.
Only a direct link in the downloaded readme.txt proofs there exists a Wiki and documentation! I can't find any link to that area.
The whole project navigation is a bit misleading.
Even the English language welcome page (http://www.phpgedview.net/) shows 4.2.3 as the last version in the news items.
There's another set of news items on the Wiki that are correct (show 4.2.4) in the English version, but the Danish version of the Wiki shows 4.2.2 (I don't speak Danish, or I'd fix it, but it might be better to not to have news items there if they are misinformative).
Also on the Wiki, the French version seems to be redirected to the German version no matter what I try. This can't be right. No wonder webtrees has such an active French speaking community. his seems to be a wiki setup issue. The German version doesn't feature news items, which is probably a better design for now.
The French version is now available. This was an unfortunate error at the last update that I was not aware of.
Please remember that the English Version is the official or most maintained version.

Do you maintain phpgedview.net too? It would be nice to get a news item there about the 4.2.4 release, or otherwise update it so it's more accurate, at least the English version.
Maybe phpgedview.net should redirect to wiki.phpgedview.net (or some equivalent setup). It seems like the content on phpgedview.net is repeated in the wiki (or should be). Maybe copy the big green download button to the wiki!
