Long time no visiting this forum. In fact I updated to last version 4.2.4 on January 13 this year and had no reason to ask anything since everything works smoothly.
However, while checking my site and my local backup I came across the readme.txt file that reads:
=======================================================
PhpGedView
Version 4.3

This and other information can be found online at

The installation instructions can also be found in the wiki at:

=======================================================
My admin page clearly shows "PhpGedView 4.2.4 stable", so why 4.3 in the readme.txt?
Thanks

The decision to release a version of PGV early last January was made very quickly. The base for the release was version 4.3.0, which had been in preparation for quite some time. Because there wasn't anything really new and breathtaking in the about-to-be-released PGV, it was called 4.2.4 instead of 4.3.
Don't pay attention to the "4.3" designation in the readme file. There is, however, a downloadable 4.3.0 which is prepared from the development SVN library every day. This one isn't much different from the 4.2.4 you're running now, except that it has a bunch of bug fixes and some minor improvements in it. When this version is released, it WILL be called 4.3.0 even though there aren't any major changes in it.
