    Hi,
With storage on my server at a premium, I decided to try trimming down unneeded parts of phpGedView. This included parts of the themes directory.
I had already changed to Ocean and expected to be able to delete the standard theme. Thsi was a bad move on my part since it seems like all the admin functions need the standard theme.
Does anyone know what is safe to remove?

I assume you are talking about the latest alpha release of 2.50?

The standard theme being used by the admin pages is a bug in the current alpha release.  In the official release you will be able to delete the themes you are not using.  Though a theme directory is only about 25Kb of disk space.  The entire phpGedView directory is less than 1MB.

If there are any CVS directories in any of the subdirectories, you can delete those.

The size of your gedcom and the index files are what will really start to eat up your space.

Yes it had been the alpha release. I wasn't really being careful when deleting and did not notice how small the theme dirs were.
How many bugs remain to be fixed in the alpha before it becomes a beta?
      Thanks

The thing that is keeping me from going beta is the editing features are not complete yet, but I am very close.  I will release a new alpha tonight that has this fixed (unless I finish the editing features in which case I will release a beta).
