I came across some minor issue today. For a family I know the marriage date and I know that they are divorced but not the date. On the individual page this means that the divorce comes first, followed by the marriage, which is a bit strange. (BTW: on the family screen the order is correct). I could fill in a date of "after <mar. date>", but this looks a bit weird.
Would it be possible to have a implicit date for an event that is after another event? In this case the divorce would have a date after the marriage. This might also be valid for other events, for example engagement would always be before a marriage.
Kind regards,
Johan Borkhuis

I did not look in the bug reports to see if there was an open issue with this. Sorry about that.

Johan - what ver of PGV are you on. Bug report 2215217 suggests this was fixed at the end of March this year, just a few days before (I think) 4.2.1 was released.
As Greg suggests, PGV is "supposed" to ensure that baptisms always come after birth, burial after death, divorce after marriage, etc even with no dates present.

The event sorting used to work like that.
Someone broke it over a year ago, and it hasn't worked since.
There are several open bug reports.
